Missionaries we support
Indigenous Turkana, Kenya Missionary-Pastors
Turkana County, NW Kenya
Through the mission of Share International, we fully support four native Turkana pastors, as they plant churches in villages in the remote, desert region of Kenya. Before God used the ministry of Share International, this tribe – the Turkana -- of about one million people, was largely unreached, that is, never even having heard the name of Jesus. Through Share about 450 churches have now been planted. Galena Bible Church has sent many teams to help in this church-planting effort (the photo was from one of those short-term mission trips).
India Rural Evangelical Fellowship
IREF is an evangelical development organization working in the rural villages of South India. IREF operates orphanages housing over 2,000 children. IREF also sponsors over 200 evangelists in rural areas, three of which Galena Bible Church supports directly.
